The Impossible Is God's Ideal

Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. - Exodus 14:13

I'd like to underline a major truth in this world of ours that I don't pretend to understand. Here it is:

The best framework for the Lord God to do His most ideal work is when things are absolutely impossible and we feel totally unqualified to handle it.

That's His favorite circumstance. Those are His ideal working conditions.

God does His most magnificent work when the situation seems totally impossible from a human point of view, and we feel absolutely unprepared and unable to do anything about it, yet our eyes are on Him... That's when God rolls up His big sleeves and says, "Step back out of the way a moment, and watch Me work."

Time after time, He brings us to our absolute end and then proves Himself faithful. That, my friend, is the story of the Bible in a nutshell.
-From Wisdom For The Way, Charles R. Swindoll

All of us may have different impossible situations. Some has an uncurable disease, or cancer for that matter and the doctor says you only have few days to live by. Some has been layed-off or retrenched because their company has been affected by the global economic situation. Some needed to transfer from their comfort zones to an unknown. Some has been waiting for years to see God's promises in their lives fulfilled and todate, it seems impossible to happen.

Take heart my friend, God's ideal are the impossible situation and He will prove his faithfulness. We just got to trust His timing. Always, fix your eyes to Him for He cares for You more than You can think of. He's been holding You in His gracious, loving hand. He will not let You fall.

Just keep on trusting the Lord. A promise from Him must still stand. A blessing is a blessing no matter what road you might take. He will lead you in the right path. God loves you... He does and He will always love you.. no matter what.

What is your impossible situation? Remember, God is still a miracle-working God!
